Buying Guidance: Which One Should You Get?
For students and everyday use — 32 GB, Good (AED 290). Browsing, YouTube, reading, notes, and video calls all run fine on the A9 chip. 32 GB is enough if most of your content lives in the cloud or a streaming app.
For a tablet the whole family shares — 128 GB, Very Good (AED 359). Only AED 10 more than the 32 GB Very Good model at current prices, and four times the storage for apps, photos, and downloaded videos. This is the value sweet spot in the current stock.
For the cleanest-looking unit — 32 GB, Excellent (AED 399). Excellent is the top condition grade Zaibis lists for this model: the closest to new. Note that Excellent is only listed for 32 GB, not 128 GB.
Condition grades, explained: Good means visible signs of use; Very Good means light wear and tear; Excellent means the best condition available. All grades are the same tablet with the same specs — the grade only reflects cosmetic condition, and the box contents may vary by condition. Please note these are graded pre-owned units, not brand-new.
One thing to check before you buy: this is the Wi-Fi only model. If you need mobile data on the go without a hotspot, this is not the version for you — ask Zaibis about cellular iPad options instead.

FAQs
What is the iPad 5th generation price in UAE?
At Zaibis Dubai, the iPad 5th generation (2017) Wi-Fi starts from AED 290 (32 GB, Good condition). Very Good starts from AED 349 (32 GB) or AED 359 (128 GB), and Excellent 32 GB is AED 399. Prices are in AED and vary by storage and condition.
Is the iPad 5th generation still good in 2026?
For everyday tasks — browsing, streaming, reading, studying, video calls, and light productivity — yes. Its A9 chip and 9.7-inch Retina display handle essential apps well, and it remains a popular budget pick for students and kids. It is not the choice for heavy gaming or professional video editing; for those, a newer iPad is a better fit.
Does the iPad 5th generation have a SIM card slot?
The model in stock at Zaibis is the Wi-Fi only version, so it has no SIM slot and no mobile-data connection. It connects over Wi-Fi, or over a phone hotspot when you are out.
What is the difference between Good, Very Good, and Excellent condition?
These are cosmetic condition grades for pre-owned units. Good shows clear signs of use, Very Good shows light wear, and Excellent is the cleanest condition available. The tablet, specs, and performance are the same across grades — only the cosmetic condition and the price differ.
