Apple's Next 4 Fridays: iPhone Duo to HomeView
Last updated: October 19, 2026. This article tracks Apple's product launch calendar as reported on October 18, 2026. The November 6 lineup is reported by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, not yet confirmed by Apple.
Apple is about to do something it has never done before: launch new products four Fridays in a row. Starting with the iPhone Duo this Friday, October 23, there is a new Apple release every single Friday until mid-November — a foldable iPhone, a new smart speaker, new Macs, and Apple's first-ever smart home display.
Here is the full calendar, what each product costs, and — just as important — which dates are confirmed by Apple and which are still reports.

Friday, October 23: iPhone Duo
The biggest of the four Fridays is the first one. The iPhone Duo — Apple's first foldable iPhone — goes on sale Friday, October 23, in the US and more than 70 other countries and regions. Pre-orders opened Friday, October 16, at 5 a.m. Pacific Time.
Pricing starts at $1,999 for 256GB, with 512GB at $2,199, 1TB at $2,599, and 2TB at $3,199. It comes in two colors: Star White and Night Sky. A further 28 countries and regions get the Duo on Friday, October 30.
If you are planning to walk into a store on launch day, know this: the Duo effectively sold out within minutes of pre-orders opening, with Apple's online store showing January 2027 delivery dates for fresh orders. Apple retail staff have reportedly been told to warn customers against coming in without a pre-order, because walk-in stock is expected to be extremely limited or nonexistent. We covered every way to still get a Duo sooner — carriers, Best Buy, and the scalper trap to avoid — if you missed the pre-order window.
The Duo ships with iOS 27.1, a Duo-only build with foldable-specific software. Every other iPhone skips straight to iOS 27.2, expected later in October.
Friday, October 30: HomePod mini 2
One week after the Duo, the second-generation HomePod mini arrives on Friday, October 30. Apple announced it on October 13 alongside the rest of its smart home lineup, and pre-orders are already open.
The headline changes: a new S10 chip, a "Sound Glow" touch surface on top that pulses and shifts colors to match the music, and five colors — midnight, white, blue, green, and pink. It can also serve as an audio output for Macs and as a smart home hub.
One catch: the headlining Siri AI features will not be active out of the box. Apple says Siri AI comes to HomePod mini 2 in a future software update. At $149, it is $50 more than the original HomePod mini's $99 launch price — worth knowing if you are comparing it against an Echo or Nest speaker.
Friday, November 6: New Macs and iPad mini (Reported, Not Confirmed)
This is the one Friday Apple has not confirmed. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, reported by MacRumors on October 18, Apple plans to release new Macs and possibly a new iPad mini on Friday, November 6, with an announcement expected on Tuesday, October 27 or Wednesday, October 28.
What Gurman reports is coming:
- MacBook Pro models with OLED displays — earlier Gurman reporting described this as Apple's first touchscreen Mac, a major break from years of Apple insisting Macs would never get touchscreens.
- A 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M6 chip and an iMac with an M6 chip in their existing designs.
- And/or an iPad mini 8 with an OLED display.
Treat this as a strong report, not a promise. Gurman is the most reliable Apple reporter in the business, but Apple has announced nothing about November 6, and the exact mix — OLED MacBook Pros, M6 Macs, iPad mini, or some combination — could still change. If you are about to buy a MacBook Pro or an iPad mini, the smart move is to wait until the October 27–28 announcement window before spending anything.
Friday, November 13: HomeView and Apple TV 4K
The final Friday is Apple's biggest smart home day ever. Two products arrive together on November 13, both priced at $299.
HomeView — Apple's first smart display
HomeView is Apple's answer to the Echo Show and Nest Hub: a 7-inch Liquid Retina display on a domed speaker base, connected by a stainless steel hinge that tilts for comfortable viewing. It comes in tabletop and wall-mounted versions, both $299, in silver, starlight, rose pink, and space gray (wall-mounted: space gray and silver only).
Its party trick is face recognition. HomeView recognizes up to six people in the household and switches each person to their own personalized Home Screen — their messages, calendar, and music — while keeping everyone else's content private. It runs Siri AI, Apple's rebuilt conversational assistant, and doubles as a smart home dashboard: the Home Camera face can livestream up to nine camera feeds at once.
Two things to know before buying: HomeView requires a compatible iPhone or iPad for setup and multiuser support, and it will not be sold in the European Union at launch because Siri AI is not yet available on iOS in the EU. Wall mounts from Schneider Home cost extra, starting at $59.95.
Apple TV 4K (4th generation)
The new Apple TV 4K also lands November 13 at $299 — a notable jump from the previous generation's $129 starting price. What you get: an A19 chip (Apple claims up to 50% faster CPU and twice the GPU performance), three far-field microphones built into the box for hands-free Siri AI commands, and a Siri Remote with Precision Finding so you can locate a lost remote. You can also link four HomePod speakers for a four-speaker surround setup.
Apple also announced the Apple Home Collection — cameras, a smart lock, and thermostats co-developed with LG and Schneider Electric — arriving in December, with some accessories in early 2027. The doorbell is $249.95, the floodlight camera $399.95, the outdoor camera $299.95, the indoor camera $199.95, the smart deadbolt $349.95, thermostats $199.95 each, and room sensors $39.95.
What Should You Actually Buy?
- iPhone Duo: if you pre-ordered, enjoy Friday. If you didn't, don't pay a scalper — check carriers and Best Buy first, and read our Duo vs Galaxy Z Fold 8 verdict and our Duo sold-out guide.
- HomePod mini 2: a solid upgrade if your home runs on Apple Home — just remember Siri AI arrives later, not on day one.
- Macs and iPad mini: wait. The November 6 lineup is still a report. If it lands, today's models could get cheaper or be replaced outright.
- HomeView / Apple TV 4K: exciting, but first-generation smart home hardware deserves reviews before $299 leaves your wallet. The November 13 date is confirmed, so there is no rush to pre-order blind.
One more thing to watch: with four launches in four weeks, Apple is asking a lot of its supply chain — and the Duo's sellout already showed the strain. If any of these dates slip, the November 6 Macs are the most likely candidates, since they are the only ones Apple hasn't confirmed.
